The superficial evidence doesn't seem quite consistent with the H'hkar,
although I suppose a case could be made for them.  There is also
superficial evidence that might point to the Droyne/Ancients (the
skeleton with the coins).  Given that such canonical information on the
H'hkar as exists places them much farther to trailing (in the Julian
Protectorate), I'd not immediately think of them as the builders of the
pyramids in Shadows.

I'd be interested in knowing what Allen feels are the problems with
